A message from one of our partner rescues:
Hi, we’re ADOGS.
Today, we’ve decided to share some truly heartbreaking news.
Our Jeonju shelter—once a safe haven for 30 rescued dogs saved from abuse and neglect—is now facing closure.
Although the land is legally designated as “farmland” and not intended for animal care, we were able to stay thanks to the kindness of the landowner and the support of Jeonju city officials. But now, that chapter is coming to an end.
After rescuing dogs from a meat farm, we’ve faced relentless complaints and legal pressure from the very person who profited from their suffering.
As a result, the city has issued an eviction notice. Our director has been fined and is preparing for trial. We have just 2–3 months to relocate every single dog.
The painful truth is…
We have nowhere else to go.
And these dogs?
They have no one but us.
We’re doing everything we can, but the reality is harsh. Construction of our new shelter has been at a standstill for months due to a lack of funds.
We’re urgently searching for forever families for these dogs. Please, show them the love and warmth they deserve. Let them experience the comfort of a real home, not fear or abandonment.
If adoption isn’t an option, please consider donating. Even the price of a cup of coffee can help us build a permanent, safe shelter. Let’s make sure they’re never forced out again.
